Please have your child come dressed for fun at preschool. We recommend that your child wear casual play clothes. Their clothing should be comfortable and easy to manage when using the toilet. Remember that your chiild may be using sand, water, paint, play dough, glue, and other exciting learning material which might end up on his or her clothing. We recommend that you do not send your child in expensive, "Sunday Best" type of clothing. We also ask that your child wear closed-toe shoes and if your daughter is wearing a dress, please have her wear shorts underneath for modesty. Cowboy boots are not recommended at school. During the cooler months, please send you child with a jacket that has been marked with his or her name.
Elementary and Junior High:
The Adventure Christian School Dress Code is used to encourage modest, neat, clean and appropriate dress to promote a positive learning environment. In order to avoid the implication that certain types of dress are good or bad, Adventure will continue to support a "casual uniform" dress code. Our desire is to teach our students to "Dress for Success." Scripture teaches in John 15:19, "If you belonged to the world. it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world."
